Water is the origin of all life

"THE PRINCIPLE OF ALL THINGS IS WATER; OUT OF WATER IS EVERYTHING, AND INTO WATER EVERYTHING RETURNS."

Water is the origin of all life and the most important food for us humans. On our water adventure hikes in the Antholz Valley you can experience the element of water as never before. From the glaciers of the Rieserferner Group, the water flows down to the valley via rushing streams and waterfalls, forming beautiful lakes and floodplain landscapes.
