Christmas in the park

Before Christmas, the leisure park of Niederrasen turns into a truly magical place. Idyllic, romantic, enchanted. It turns into a place in which the Advent season casts its spell upon visitors of all ages. Set apart from the crowds of major Christmas markets, surrounded by the snow-covered peaks of the Rieserferner mountain range, the Christmas in the Park represents one of the cosier Christmas markets in South Tyrol. Enjoy the romantic atmosphere that arises between festively decorated booths, relish the distinctive scent of roasted chestnuts and mulled wine, listen to seasonal sounds and savour all sorts of local delicacies. Alongside participating in our entertaining supporting programme, you can also browse our booths to discover unique handmade gifts which will delight your loved ones.

Biathlon World Cup in Antholz

The Biathlon World Cup 2025 in Antholz is set to be another sporting highlight, captivating both fans and athletes alike.
 

From January 23rd to 26th 2025, the Antholz Valley will once again become the vibrant heart of the biathlon world. Located at an altitude of 1600 meters and surrounded by the stunning backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of the Rieserferner Group, the South Tyrol Arena provides the perfect stage for exciting competitions. Visitors can look forward to a diverse competition program set against the picturesque and idyllic setting of the Antholz Valley. In addition to the athletic highlights, an accompanying music program will also be offered, ensuring entertainment and rounding off the unique biathlon atmosphere.

EVENING MARKET

Bartholomew Market

The Bartholomew Market in Niederrasen is a traditional event held in the local recreation park, featuring a wide array of market stalls. Visitors can look forward to around 30 stands offering everything from handicrafts and antiques to flea market items. Culinary delights will be available to satisfy the taste buds, while live music ensures a lively atmosphere. Children are also catered to with fun activities, including a trampoline.
The event is scheduled for Saturday 24.08.2024 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

South Tyrolean Carter's Days

The South Tyrolean Carter's Days are a traditional festival that celebrates the culture of the historic teamster trade. During the event, horse-drawn carriages are presented, and visitors can watch demonstrations and competitions that highlight the importance of cart transport for the region.

South Tyrolean Speck Festival at Kronplatz

Following the impressive success of the premiere of the South Tyrolean Speck Festival at Kronplatz, which attracted around 10,000 visitors, the Dolomites Kronplatz region and the South Tyrolean Speck Consortium have decided to host the Speck Festival again at Kronplatz on September 27 and 28, 2025.
