... during the 10 competition days in the Antholz Valley

INFORMATION for guests with accommodation in the Antholz Valley:

Guests arriving during the 10 competition days:

Zone 1 (Rasun – Antholz Niedertal) from 08:00 to 14:00 | Zone 2 (Antholz Niedertal – Antholz Obertal) from 08:00 to 17:00

 

  • With their booking confirmation, guests will receive a day pass at the pass distribution point at the valley entrance, allowing them to reach their accommodation.
  • For the entire stay, the host in the Antholz Valley will issue a Car Pass (to be returned at departure). This pass must be clearly displayed on the windshield.

 

INFORMATION for locals, businesses, commuters and others:

Access to the Antholz Valley during the 10 competition days:

Zone 1 (Rasun – Antholz Niedertal) from 08:00 to 14:00 | Zone 2 (Antholz Niedertal – Antholz Obertal) from 08:00 to 17:00

 

  • 3-zone system: A separate Car Pass is required for access to each zone.
  • Application: from October 2025 online via the Milano Cortina portal (link to be published).

  • Collection: Car Passes are physical stickers for the windshield and must be collected in person after application. Details on collection will follow.

 

INFORMATION for day visitors (winter sports enthusiasts):

  • Cross-country skiers (trails accessible only up to Antholz Niedertal) and alpine skiers (Riepenlift visitors) must collect a day pass at the pass distribution point at the valley entrance.

 

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

  • Bus line 431 as well as shuttles B and C to Antholz Niedertal can be used by everyone free of charge and without restrictions during the 10 competition days.
  • A dedicated shuttle is available for people with disabilities.

Access to Lake Antholz and Staller Saddle

From January 7th until early March 2026, special access regulations apply to Lake Antholz and the Staller Saddle:
 

Pedestrian access during this period:

07/01 – 22/01/2026 | 08:00 – 16:00

23/01 – 29/01/2026 | 10:00 – 15:00

30/01 – 01/03/2026 | 21:00 – 09:00 (ATTENTION: accessible only at night)

02/03 – xx/03/2026 | 08:00 – 16:00 (this period may be shortened)
 

From 07/01/2026 until early March: the Biathlon Center is not accessible, cross-country skiing is not possible, and no parking is available.

Overview of access to Lake Antholz and Staller Saddle
Cross-country trail information

Due to the Winter Olympic Games, the cross-country trails in the Biathlon Center will be closed from January 7th, 2026 until early March.

 

The trails from Niederrasen to Antholz Mittertal will be groomed depending on weather conditions and remain accessible.

 

  • During the competition days, external cross-country skiers can collect a vehicle access pass at the distribution point at the valley entrance.
  • Bus line 431 and shuttles B and C to Antholz Mittertal can be used free of charge and without restrictions by everyone during the 10 competition days.
Status of open trails
Skilift Riepen | Antholz Mittertal

The skilift Riepen is open to skiers throughout the entire winter season.

 

  • The same rule applies here: during the competition days, external skiers must collect a vehicle access pass at the distribution point at the valley entrance.
  • Bus line 431 and shuttles B and C to Antholz Mittertal can be used free of charge and without restrictions by everyone during the 10 competition days.
