Enchanting water worlds in the Antholz valley

We like to describe our vale as the Blue Valley, for here, in this water-rich side dale of the Pustertal valley, at the heart of the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park, you can immerse yourself in unique water places which reveal their revitalising and health-promoting effects, provide relaxation and renew your energy. Thus, if you are as fascinated by water as we are, you will instantly be enchanted by our unspoilt landscape, characterised by idyllic mountain lakes, impressive waterfalls, gentle streams, healing springs and water adventure areas for families. These water places are not only a natural attraction, but also places of power where you can enjoy the silence of nature, relax and unwind from everyday life.

Your water adventures at a glance

Ready to explore our water worlds? It all starts with our lakes: Enjoy an excursion to the Lake Antholz, one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Alps, or to the Obersee lake at the Staller Sattel mountain pass. If you fancy a more challenging mountain tour, you can set off on an outdoor experience to the alpine lakes called Ochsenfelder Seen or a glacier tour. And then, there are our both roaring waterfalls: the Klammbach and Egger waterfalls, which will light up your eyes. You can follow the sound of the Antholzer Bach stream and if you want to enjoy feel the refreshing power of the cold water in a Kneipp watertreading basin, the Wasserwaldile water adventure area is the ideal place for it. In addition to your own individual tours, you can also join one of the guided water experience hikes which are regularly organised by our tourist office.
