Local Mobility

Convenient. Flexible. Easy.

Travelling in harmony with nature

In the Antholz Valley, eco-friendly and well-connected mobility makes travel convenient, flexible, and sustainable. Bus line 431 links all villages in the valley with Olang train station and Lake Antholz. From there, the Pustertal railway takes you easily to other parts of South Tyrol.

With the Kronplatz Guest Pass, you can use all public transport in South Tyrol free of charge – a simple and sustainable way to explore the region.

In summer, the 2-Lakes Shuttle takes you directly from Lake Antholz to the Staller Saddle – relaxed and without the hassle of parking. In winter, a ski bus offers a comfortable connection to the Kronplatz ski area, so you can hit the slopes without your car.

Whether by bus, train, bike, or on foot – the Antholz Valley offers many ways to enjoy nature consciously and climate-friendly.

Your Footprint matters

Sustainability starts before you arrive – already with your travel planning. Traveling consciously helps protect what makes our landscape so special: clear mountain air, untouched nature, and an inspiring environment.
Even a holiday in the middle of this nature causes CO₂ emissions during arrival and stay, which affect the climate.

What’s your carbon footprint?
With just a few clicks, you can calculate the emissions from your trip – and, if you wish, offset them voluntarily. By doing so, you support certified climate protection projects and contribute to a mindful, future-oriented form of tourism:

Small habits, big impact
Engine off, nature on

Whether in everyday life or while traveling, mindful actions help protect our nature in the long term. This also means not letting the engine run unnecessarily – for example, while waiting or defrosting your windshield.
Every minute of idling creates unnecessary emissions and pollutes the air. According to Article 157 of the Road Traffic Code, the engine should always be switched off when the vehicle is not moving.

Our tip: On cold days, use an ice scraper instead of letting the engine run. It saves fuel, reduces emissions, and protects the environment.

Even more climate-friendly: take the ski bus or local bus. They bring you comfortably and without the hassle of parking to hiking trails, cross-country tracks, ski lifts, or the village center – and back again. This way, you reach your destination relaxed and eco-friendly, without using your own car.
