Castle Welsperg is among the oldest and best-preserved castles in South Tyrol. Its impressive keep, dating back to 1126, highlights the site’s former strategic role as a defensive and lookout structure. For centuries, the noble Welsperg family shaped local history. Today, the castle serves as a vibrant cultural venue hosting exhibitions, concerts and cultural events.
