This leisurely winter hike leads through the snow-covered landscape along Lake Antholz to the Enzianhütte hut at the far end of the lake. The groomed winter hiking trail is mostly easy and offers beautiful views of the lake and the impressive peaks of the Rieserferner Group along the way.
The easy route is ideal for families, leisure hikers and anyone who would like to enjoy the winter landscape at the head of the Antholz Valley on a relaxed walk.
The starting point is the car park at the biathlon center near Lake Antholz. From there, first follow the road towards Lake Antholz and continue to the hotel Antholzer Wildsee Haus.
Shortly afterwards, the groomed winter hiking trail begins. Follow it through the snow-covered landscape along Lake Antholz to the Enzianhütte hut at the far end of the lake.
The return follows the same route back to the starting point.
Take bus line 431 from the Olang-Antholz train station to reach Lake Antholz.
