This leisurely winter hike follows a varied circular route through the snow-covered landscape around Oberrasen. It combines short sections on paved roads with a groomed winter hiking trail and a peaceful return route along the Antholz stream.
Along the way, open countryside alternates with snow-covered woodland and beautiful views of the village and surrounding mountains. Parts of the route run beside the cross-country ski track, creating a particularly atmospheric winter setting.
This easy circular hike is ideal for families, leisurely walkers and anyone looking for a relaxing winter walk around Oberrasen.
The starting point is the cultural centre in Oberrasen.
From there, first return to the main road and follow it uphill to the right for approximately 100 metres. Then turn right again and follow the signs for the Oberrasen barbecue area along trail no. 3B.
The route initially follows a paved road before continuing along a groomed winter hiking trail. After crossing a small bridge, turn right and walk down towards the Antholz stream.
From there, follow the winter hiking trail beside the cross-country ski track back to the starting point at the cultural centre in Oberrasen. Please do not walk on the cross-country ski track.
