The hike from Niederrasen to the water adventure area "Wasserwaldile" and on to Oberrasen and the Rasner Möser biotope is a varied and family-friendly tour in the Antholz Valley. It combines nature experiences with playful elements and peaceful landscapes.
At the beginning, the route leads to “Wasserwaldile” water experience area, where various water games and installations invite exploration. The path then continues through open meadows towards Oberrasen.
A special highlight is the Rasner Möser biotope, a protected wetland with diverse flora and fauna. A nature trail with wooden boardwalks allows visitors to explore this sensitive environment.
This tour is ideal for families and anyone who wants to enjoy nature and outdoor activity in a peaceful setting.
The starting point is Niederrasen. From there, follow the road towards Oberrasen. At the end of the village, near the bridge, turn right towards the “Wasserwaldile” water experience area, where various play and activity stations related to water can be found.
The path then continues through meadows to Oberrasen, following the signs to the Rasner Möser biotope.
Within the biotope, a nature trail with wooden boardwalks leads through the wetland. Information boards along the route provide insights into the unique natural environment.
For the return, you can either take the same route or leave the biotope and follow the path along the Antholz stream back to Niederrasen.
Take bus line 431 from the Olang-Antholz train station or from Lake Antholz to the stop “Niederrasen, Hinteraue”.
