The Müllerkofl circular trail is a varied hike around the wooded ridge above Antholz Mittertal. The route combines peaceful forest paths with beautiful views over the valley and passes the historic Burgegga Mill as well as traditional farms.
Especially appealing is the combination of comfortable forest roads and natural woodland trails. Most of the route leads through shady forest, making it especially suitable for warm summer days.
The hike is ideal for leisure hikers and anyone looking for a peaceful circular route away from the main trails.
The starting point is Antholz Mittertal.
From there, cross the main road towards the Riederhof farm and then follow hiking trail no. 1 downhill out of the valley.
The route passes the historic Burgegga mill. Here, the actual Müllerkofl trail begins, continuing on hiking trail no. 1 downhill to the Nösslerhof farm.
At the Nösslerhof farm, forest road no. 2 branches off to the left. Follow this pleasantly and gently ascending route until trail no. 2A branches off and leads back towards Antholz Mittertal.
Above the Burgegga mill, trail no. 8A finally leads back down to the mill. From there, follow trail no. 1 again back to the village centre.
Take bus line 431 from the train station Olang-Antholz or from Lake Antholz to Antholz Mittertal.
