The hike to Kumpfl Alm hut via trail no. 3A is a particularly scenic and nature-oriented alternative to the ascent along the forest road. The route starts directly in the village centre of Antholz Mittertal and leads through shady forests and quiet mountain paths up to the alpine hut.
Shortly after setting off, hikers enter a tranquil forest environment and steadily gain elevation. Along the way, beautiful views of the surrounding mountain scenery repeatedly open up.
Kumpfl Alm hut is located in a sunny position above the valley and is a popular destination for hikers. From here, numerous additional alpine and panoramic hiking routes can be explored.
