The hike to the Burgegga Mill is a pleasant and family-friendly tour in the Antholz Valley. The trail leads from Antholz Mittertal downhill along easy forest and meadow paths and is ideal for a short and relaxing outing with children.
The historic Burgegga Mill is idyllically located at the edge of the forest and offers a small insight into the traditional milling and farming culture of the valley.
Especially interesting for families is the possibility to combine the hike with Tonis Waldwegile– a varied nature adventure trail with numerous play, learning and discovery stations focused on the forest, animals and nature.
The starting point is Antholz Mittertal at the Rieder Bridge.
From there, follow hiking trail no. 1 towards Antholz Niedertal until reaching the Burgegga Mill.
The trail leads comfortably through forest and natural surroundings and is ideal for families with children.
The return follows the same route back to the starting point or alternatively via the industrial area of Antholz Mittertal back to the village.
