This peaceful and scenic alpine hike leads to the three idyllic alpine huts located on the right side of the valley – Agstalm hut, Ausserwegeralm hut and Pichleralm hut– above Antholz Niedertal and Antholz Mittertal. The route follows shady forest sections and quiet alpine trails away from the more frequented hiking paths.
The hike is especially suitable for nature lovers and leisure hikers who want to discover the authentic landscape of the Antholz Valley. All three alpine huts are unmanaged and offer a particularly peaceful and authentic atmosphere.
Thanks to the different return options, the tour can be planned flexibly.
The starting point is the bus stop "Riepen" before Antholz Mittertal.
From there, cross the stream Nösslerbach stream to the right and pass the Nösslerhof farm. Then follow forest road no. 2 steadily uphill to Agstalm hut.
Before reaching Agstalm hut, trail no. 8B continues to Ausserwegeralm hut and then a short distance further to Pichleralm hut.
All three alpine huts are unmanaged and are peacefully located in the middle of nature.
The return follows either the same route back to the Nösslerhof farm or alternatively trail no. 8 down to the village centre of Antholz Mittertal.
From the Pustertal road, turn into the Antholz Valley and drive to Antholz Mittertal, skilift Riepen.
