This varied winter hike between Antholz Niedertal and Antholz Mittertal combines snow-covered valley scenery, peaceful winter trails and traditional farms.
From Niederrasen, we travel together by public bus to Antholz Niedertal. It is also possible to board the bus at stops along the route.
From Antholz Niedertal, the hike initially follows the groomed winter hiking trail along the Antholz stream to Antholz Mittertal.
After a short section through the village, the route climbs from the sports area to the Egger farms and continues past Innerkumpflhof and Wanzler Hof to Waldrasthof.
The circular route then leads back towards Antholz Niedertal, passing the Maier farms with Pfaffingerhof and Kaltenhauserhof, before returning to the village. Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to discover the traditional rural landscape and farming culture of the Antholz Valley.
A pleasant winter hike for anyone looking to combine outdoor activity, beautiful scenery and traditional farm culture. Several places in the village offer the perfect opportunity for refreshments at the end of the tour.
