This varied winter hike connects Antholz Niedertal and Antholz Mittertal and leads through the quiet, rural winter landscape of the Antholz Valley. Passing traditional farms, the route continues via the Maierhöfe farms, including Pfaffingerhof farm and Kaltenhauserhof farm, to the Wiesemannhof farm and the Ausserweger sawmill.
The easy hike runs mostly along quiet paths and roads and offers beautiful views of snow-covered meadows and the surrounding mountains. The circular route can be started in either Antholz Niedertal or Antholz Mittertal.
The starting point is Antholz Niedertal. From there, the route passes the church and continues to the Maierhöfe farms, including Pfaffingerhof farm and Kaltenhauserhof farm.
Then follow the path to the Wiesemannhof farmand the Ausserweger sawmill. From there, continue along the pavement beside the main road towards the skilift Riepen. Cross the main road and then follow the village road back to Antholz Niedertal.
The circular hike can also be started in Antholz Mittertal and walked in the opposite direction.
Take bus line 431 from the Olang-Antholz train station or from Lake Antholz to the stop “Antholz Niedertal”.

From the Pustertal Valley road, turn off into the Antholz Valley and follow the road to Antholz Niedertal.
