The Rasen village loop is an easy and varied circular hike between Niederrasen and Oberrasen. The route first follows the Antholz stream, then continues through quiet forest sections and along sunny paths at the forest edge, offering beautiful views of both villages.
The well-marked route, indicated by the blue-and-white “Rasen village loop” signs, combines nature and village life in a pleasant way. The contrast between shaded forest paths and open sections along the forest edge is especially appealing.
The hike is ideal for families, casual walkers and nature lovers and can be easily shortened or extended.
The starting point is either Niederrasen or Oberrasen.
