Idyllic mountain pass

At the end of the Antholz valley, past Lake Antholz (1,650 m), you reach the Staller Saddle at 2,050 m, the border to Austria (East Tyrol), via the pass road.

The pass road is closed from end October till mid-May!

Also in winter, the Staller Saddle and the Lake Obersee are an ideal destination. At the Staller Saddle there is a 5km long cross-country ski trail around the Lake Obersee. A groomed winter hiking trail with sledding possibility from the Antholz Valley up to the Staller Saddle guarantees fun for the whole family. It is also an ideal starting point for snowshoe hikeswinter hikes and ski tours.
